The normal office workweek is 35 hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is a one-hour lunch period, which is not considered part of the working day.
Summertime hours (June through August) may differ from this 9:00 to 5:00 schedule. Summer hours allow employees to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays. These summer hours are not mandatory and employees may continue to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. if it is more convenient.
Employees of Operations and Facilities (except office staff) work a normal 40-hour week. Their schedules will differ from the office workweek in accordance with the shift worked.
