Smoking Policy

New York State's Clean Indoor Air Act prohibits or restricts smoking in the following areas on all college campuses: classrooms, elevators, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, medical facilities, gymnasiums and locker rooms, conference/meeting rooms, all public access areas and offices (with the exception of designated smoking areas), and dormitory common areas (with the exception of designated smoking areas).

Smoking is prohibited in all College buildings and within 25 feet of any College building entrance or restricted pathway (for example, the bridge to the main library entrance). This includes the garage doors of the Heimbold Visual Arts Center. In addition, the Pub patios (both rear and front) are smoke free terraces.
