The Early Childhood Center
Grounded in a thoughtful, progressive curriculum for children ages two through six, the Early Childhood Center at Sarah Lawrence College is also an observation and research setting for Sarah Lawrence College students interested in child development and teaching. Programs at the Early Childhood Center are modeled as extensions of the Sarah Lawrence pedagogy, with an underlying belief that children are the makers of their own meaning.

ECC Art Archive
The ECC Art Archive was conceived as a tool for viewing the artwork of young children at different developmental stages. All the artwork displayed in the archive was created by children ages two through seven at the Early Childhood Center, where artwork is essential curriculum.
