    profession

    Miller has had an incredibly varied career in education, starting as a teacher in SLC’s Early Childhood Center. She worked with children at the Center for Preventive Psychiatry, trained teachers for Head Start, served as the director of a nursery school, and then became a psychiatric social worker at Westchester Jewish Community Services.

    Her don, Lois Murphy (psychology), who told her that she “had to make a contribution to the community as well as to her work.” Also Meyer Rabban and Jane Judge (psychology), and Stanley Lock (music).
