How to Apply for the Spring Writing Semester

Apply for Admission

To apply for the Sarah Lawrence Spring Writing Semester, please send us the following by December 1:

1. A completed application form | Download the form now»
2. An academic recommendation from a faculty member who has read your writing in some form. This recommendation can be submitted electronically to Dean Jerrilynn Dodds at semesterwriting@sarahlawrence.edu
3. A writing sample which may be creative, analytical, or research writing
4. A transcript of your college grades to date
