**Our Visiting Student status has reduced this cost considerably. Since we now have complete access to all libraries, most students are choosing not to purchase books each term.

Travel expenses before or after the term, and any trips taken during the mid-term break, are not included in this estimate.

Financial Aid

Sarah Lawrence College students who normally receive aid may apply their awards to any College-sponsored program abroad. Sarah Lawrence financial aid is available to guest students attending Sarah Lawrence College at Oxford, but we encourage all guest students to explore several additional sources of aid:

• loans available from local banks, state agencies, or through the Perkins Loan Program;
• the Federal portion of an ongoing financial aid award, which may be applied by a guest student’s home institution to a program abroad;
• a student’s current financial aid package, to which many institutions allow students full access. 

The Office of Financial Aid at your home institution can provide information about grants, loans and procedures for applying.
