    LEND Programs

In 2004, the HGP developed a collaboration with the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) program, a two-semester sequence that provides intensive training for advanced graduate students and postgraduate fellows interested in pursuing careers in the field of neurodevelopmental disabilities. The affiliation with the Westchester Institute of Human Development (WIHD) LEND program is in its sixth year and the affiliation with the Rose F. Kennedy Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine LEND program is in its fourth year. Over the last six years, twenty-five Sarah Lawrence Human Genetics students have become LEND scholars.
