    Aman BanerjiAman Banerji '14
    New Delhi, India

    Aman studies economics, international relations and development. His goal is to work with a developmental agency, working on economic policy or policy in general. He is also interested in documentary filmmaking and wants to travel throughout Latin America.

    Fun face: Aman plays on both the Men’s Soccer and Tennis teams.


    Deandra GomesDeandra Gomes '13
    Sri Lanka

    Deandra has fundraised for the College since 2010. And, she recently joined the Senior Gift Committee. She has interned at publishing houses, is currently at Harper’s Bazaar, and is looking forward to a career in publishing.

    Fun fact: Deandra is graduating early.


    Samantha RoweSamantha Rowe '13
    New Jersey

    Samantha spent a year abroad in Florence, Italy. She has been part of Phonathon since 2010. A fashionista interested in the arts, Samantha has a concentration in Art History, but also studies visual arts, psychology, and Italian with hopes of becoming a museum curator.

    Fun fact: Samantha designs her own jewelry.


    Vivian LiangVivian Liang '13
    Oregon


    Vivian has fundraised for SLC since Fall 2009. She is very active on campus, serving as Senate Treasurer and Orientation Chair. She currently serves as a Student Life Senator after being elected by her peers.

    Fun fact: Vivian loves K-pop.


    Sophie KurtzeSophie Kurtze '13
    Maryland

    Sophie is on the Management Committee for Downstage Theatre Company, and has been part of several theatre productions on campus in multiple capacities. In addition to theatre, she is currently studying economics and statistics in order to prepare herself for possible post-graduate work in the field of Theatre Management. She is also interested in Humanitarian Law. Sophie recently joined Phonathon and has been successfully reconnecting alumni to SLC.

    Fun fact: When Sophie was eight years old, her first experience with theatre was learning to peel a banana with her toes.


    Aislinn GarnerAislinn Garner '15
    Georgia

    Aislinn is very involved with student senate at SLC and has fundraised for the College since 2011. Her concentrations are pre-law and east Asian languages and studies.

    Fun fact: Aislinn's name comes from a romance novel.


    Sara Smith-SellSara Smith-Sell '13
    Washington

    Sara has been a Phonathon caller since 2009 and is doing additional fundraising this year with the Senior Gift Committee. She is an urban planning/urban studies concentration who spent last year traveling and studying in Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua, India, Senegal, and Argentina. Sara is the chair of Enviro Earth Club, a student-run initiative that operates a garden-based education program out of a community garden in Yonkers. She also works as a Senior Interviewer in the Admission office.

    Fun Fact: Sara's mother was her teacher for eight years (1st-8th grades).


    Alexis IngramAlexis Ingram '13
    Rhode Island

    Alexis, a very talented performer, has participated in many theatre productions on campus. She has been part of Phonathon since 2009. In addition to theater Alexis has written for the school paper and studies journalism.

    Fun fact: In two SLC theatre productions, Alexis has played a character that had her eyes gouged out.


    Ava Al-AwamiAva Al-Awami '13
    Wisconsin

    Ava has been part of Phonathon since 2009. Recently she spent a year in Florence. She studies psychology and Italian. She loves to cook, experimenting with different recipes and cuisines. She loves The Golden Girls and has a slight addiction to stripes.

    Fun fact: Ava collects knick knacks and always keeps her eye out for a vintage jewelry find.


    Nazsa BakerNazsa Baker MA '14
    New Jersey

    Nazsa just graduated from Bates College in May with a Bachelor of the Arts in Anthropology and Psychology.  She fundraised for Bates her sophomore year until her senior year. She is currently a graduate student in the Health Advocacy program.

    Fun fact: At Bates, Nazsa founded the Diversity and Inclusion pledge.


    Emily HarringtonEmily Harrington '13
    California


    Emily has been part of the Phonathon team since 2010. She is studying art history, science, and design. Her post-SLC interests are in design, and she is exploring graduate school as an option.

    Fun fact: Emily can whistle like a bird.


    Jahmekya BirhanJahmekya Birhan '15
    California

    Jahmekya joined the Phonathon team in her first year at SLC. She is studying environmental studies and economics with a particular interest in food. She hopes to work on either a sustainable farm in Brooklyn or attend graduate school at Brown University or Columbia University to study Environmental Law/Food Studies.

    Fun Fact: Jahmekya has a fear of bananas, known as bananaphobia.


    Jeremie GluckmanJeremie Gluckman '13
    Paris/San Francisco


    Jeremie is studying creative development, public policy for the arts, and international relations. This summer he was a production intern at DreamWorks Animation, and this fall he is an arts and culture intern at the Municipal Art Society of New York, where he helps develop new methodologies to assess the impact of cultural organizations on the neighborhoods they serve. Down the line, he is drawn to the idea of working for the federal government in the Foreign Service or at the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, but is also interested in media and film production.

    Fun Fact: Jeremie is trained in Indian classical dance (Bharata Natyam).
