    Jenny Offill

     

    Jenny Offill (BA University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill) was a Stegner Fellow in Fiction at Stanford. Her novel, Last Things (FSG, 1999) was a New York Times Notable book of the year and a finalist for The L.A. Times Art Seidenbaum award. She is the co-author (along with Elissa Schappell) of two anthologies of essays, Money Changes Everything  and The Friend Who Got Away (Random House 2007, 2005).  Her short fiction has recently appeared in Electric Literature and Significant Objects. In 2012, she won the Ellen Levine Award for her novel-in-progress, Dept. of Speculation.
