Rujeko Dumbutshena

Originally from Zimbabwe, she has been teaching and performing throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia since 1994. She has performed at venues that include the Getty Museum, Lincoln Center, and the Sydney Opera House. She is co-founder and artistic director of the Panjea Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing African and Western cultures together through cultural exchange tours, music and dance conferences, and workshops.
